FAQ

Frequently<br>asked questions

What is the KMM – Kanban Maturity Model training?
KMM is an advanced training that enables professionals to apply the Kanban Maturity Model to guide organizational transformations. You will learn to diagnose the organization's current maturity level, use the Evolutionary Change Model (ECM) and lead evolution in a gradual and sustainable way.
Do I need to have completed KSD or KSI before KMM?
We recommend participants have familiarity with Kanban fundamentals. KSD and KSI provide the ideal foundation to make the most of KMM. Professionals with practical Kanban experience also benefit fully from the training.
Is KMM part of the path to KCP?
Yes. KMM is Part I of the path to KCP, Kanban Coaching Professional. After KMM, you advance to KBC (Kanban Coaching) and, upon completing the Kanban University Proficiency Exam, obtain the internationally recognized KCP certification.
Does the training offer certification?
Yes. Upon completing KMM you receive the KMM – Kanban Maturity Model certificate, issued by Kanban University. There is no exam; certification is granted through participation and course completion.
What is the difference between KMM and KBC?
KMM focuses on diagnosing and evolving organizational maturity with the Kanban Maturity Model and ECM. KBC (Part II of the KCP path) deepens coaching competencies: how to lead change conversations, overcome resistance and guide teams through transformation. The two complement each other on the path to KCP.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes. We offer a lifetime retake guarantee — you can redo the training whenever you want, at no additional cost.
