We recommend participants have familiarity with KMM concepts, as KC applies the Kanban Maturity Model in its coaching and culture dimension. Both trainings are complementary and together form the basis for the KCP credential.
Not directly. KC is a preparatory training for the KCP credential, Kanban Coaching Professional. To obtain the KCP, you also need to have completed KMM and passed the Kanban University proficiency exam.
KMM focuses on the organisational maturity model, diagnosis, the 7 maturity levels and the ECM as an evolution framework. KC focuses on the human competencies of the coach: how to lead, influence, overcome resistance and facilitate transformations. Both complement each other directly.
