KSI is Part II of the path to KMP certification. You will learn to improve Kanban systems already in use, apply Kanban at scale (upstream), work with the Kanban Maturity Model (KMM), and master advanced metrics to optimize the flow of value delivery.
We recommend that participants have knowledge of Kanban fundamentals. KSD (Kanban System Design) is Part I of the KMP path and provides the ideal foundation for KSI. It is not mandatory, but strongly recommended.
Yes. Upon completing KSI, you receive the KSI – Kanban System Improvement certificate. Combined with KSD (Part I), you obtain the KMP – Kanban Management Professional, an internationally recognized certification.
No exam is required for the KSI certificate. Certification is granted based on participation and completion of the training.
KSD teaches you to design Kanban systems from scratch (fundamentals, STATIK, visualization). KSI focuses on improving existing systems: scale, upstream, KMM, advanced metrics, and organizational cadences.
